To celebrate Flue & Ducting Ltd's 15th anniversary, we delivered a fully bespoke Scalextric racing experience at their Stockport headquarters — transforming the warehouse space into a high-energy motorsport-themed charity event. Designed to entertain staff, customers, suppliers, and guests throughout the celebration, the activation combined interactive racing, custom branding, and friendly competition — all while raising money for an incredible cause.
The event successfully raised over £1,000 for Marie Curie through a "£10 for 5 Minutes" fastest lap challenge, creating an unforgettable atmosphere packed with competition, laughter, and engagement from start to finish.
For the event, we created a custom digital Scalextric installation featuring fully themed motorsport scenery, live leaderboard timing screens, a fastest lap competition format, and bespoke company branding throughout the circuit. Every element was purpose-built to celebrate Flue & Ducting Ltd's 15-year milestone.

The setup included custom miniature staff figures, interactive pit lane and podium features, and large-scale visual branding integrated into the track environment. The experience was specifically tailored to make every guest feel like the event had been created just for them.
From branded control towers and trackside signage to personalised mini-figures representing members of the team, every detail was designed to make the experience feel completely bespoke to the business.

One of the standout features of the event was the charity fundraising competition. Guests could take part in the "Fastest Lap Challenge" for £10 per session, with each participant receiving five minutes to set their quickest lap time.
The competitive format created constant excitement around the track, with guests returning multiple times to improve their times and climb the leaderboard. By the end of the event, the activation had raised more than £1,000 for Marie Curie — adding a meaningful charitable element to the company celebration while keeping guests fully engaged throughout the night.
Interactive fundraising experiences like this are highly effective because they combine entertainment, competition, and social participation in a way that encourages repeat involvement.

Corporate anniversary events and milestone celebrations are most successful when they give guests something memorable to actively engage with rather than simply observe. Scalextric experiences are particularly effective because they combine nostalgia, competition, team interaction, visual impact, crowd engagement, repeat participation, and natural social conversation.
Unlike passive entertainment, live racing creates natural excitement within the venue. Guests gather around the circuit to watch lap attempts, celebrate close finishes, and challenge colleagues for the fastest time. At the Flue & Ducting Ltd event, the leaderboard competition quickly became one of the focal points of the evening.

Our custom Scalextric event experiences are designed for corporate parties, brand activations, trade shows and exhibitions, product launches, networking events, weddings and private parties, charity fundraising events, and company milestone celebrations.
Every setup can be fully customised with branded cars and liveries, company logos and signage, personalised scenery and track features, live timing systems, structured competitions, commentary and hosting, display screens and sponsor integration.
Whether you're looking to increase engagement at an exhibition, create a standout corporate event, or raise money for charity through an interactive experience, bespoke Scalextric racing offers a unique and memorable solution.
"The Flue & Ducting Ltd 15th birthday event was everything we love about what we do — a fully bespoke build, genuine excitement from every guest, and over £1,000 raised for a brilliant cause. Moments like this are why we do it."
