Connor + Rebecca's Wedding

Connor and Rebecca wanted their Aberdeen wedding evening reception to feel like no other. As motorsport fans, they referenced the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and wanted the entire Scalextric activation designed around it — authentic F1 branding, detailed scenery, personalised touches, and live competitive racing.

We built a large-scale digital Scalextric track designed to evoke the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in miniature, with authentic F1 signage and livery recreated at scale, hand-built pit lane and grandstand scenery, the couple's names incorporated into the circuit branding, live leaderboard timing, and multiple cars racing simultaneously with real overtaking.

The activation ran throughout the evening reception. Wedding guests — from children to grandparents — were drawn to the circuit immediately. Guests who had never met were racing each other within minutes; ties were loosened and heels kicked off as the circuit became the social hub of the reception.
